BEST thing ive EVER heard, will last forever lol

Zanzlanz responds:

o_o Hahah thank you, that means a lot!

What software are you using, because it doesn't sound like a very good one (No offense)

The piano sounds short, you should have it sustained, and the drums are really sucky, if you are using presets... don't. i made that mistake, they are obvious and sound terrible, especially for a sad song :(

Over-all this could use a lot of work, but that may not be possible if you are not using a good software like FL studio or garage band, ect.

Lone-X responds:

I used FL studio and most is done with fl studio's main plugins. The drums are just from one of hundreds of drum samples I have that I thought would fit with it. I think it sounds nice. Nothing is preset as well, I've fiddled with everything the way I liked.

This is a really repetitive song for a loop, if you cut out some of the repeats, and made it shorter, it would be better, and it wouldn't matter because it's a loop anyway. I do have to say that it loops surprising well, and it sounds great, i just kept waiting and waiting for something new to be added to the song all the way to 1:45 in to the song, which is not a good music habit.

Shadowaves responds:

Hi, thanks for the review !
You probably right, I'll be more careful about the repeats in the future.
And this is funny that you said that it miss something new until 1:45, I don't wanted to add something because, after some tests, it was simply too much (in terms of sounds) , well, I'll try to do better next time !

In all case, thanks for your advice =)

Love the intro, with that background piano. and i love the build up because it starts in the background and then you start to notice it. i really think this sounded good and is a good ambient/cinematic song.

sleepFacingWest responds:

Thank you.

Ok, great song, sounds a lot like a boss, or intense game. it does fit the innitial "Newgrounds" Theme, but, some of the parts are really high pitched, not saying that is bad, but if your muted it a tiny bit, it wouldn't be as sharp. Love it!

Gario responds:

Ha, well it IS a song written for a NG Picoday game, so I imagine that's why it sounds like that. I agree that the high end is piercing, but I'll leave this one as it lies - no point in redoing old work. Good ear, though.

Gets REALLY :( high pitched at times
but awesome song

im a zelda fan

Teckmo-X responds:

Sorry should have tweaked the treble a bit down hehe ^_^
